East Erie Turners Band to Perform

The East Erie Turners Concert Band will present its spring concert on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Turners hall, 829 Parade St.

Directed by Tim McKinney, the 32-member band will play a Henry Mancini medley, some Dixieland jazz, "St. Louis Blues" and "Just You and Me." Marches will be featured, too, including "The Nittany Lion," "Colonel Bogey March," "Hands Across the Sea."

The group's newly formed Jazz Band will perform before the concert at 2:45 p.m. and again at intermission.

Tickets are available from band members, at the Turners, and at the door.
