Gem City Concert Band to Present Spring Concert

The Gem City Concert Band — formerly known as the East Erie Turners Concert Band — will present its spring concert on Tuesday, May 11, at 7 p.m. at St. John Parish Center, adjacent to St. John Lutheran's Church, 2216 Peach St.

Tim McKinney directs a program that includes the "Irish Tune from County Derry" (Danny Boy), Leroy Anderson's compositions "Serenata" and "Phantom Regiment," marches and more.

The concert is free and open the the public; donations will be accepted.
