Gem City Jazz Band to Present Spring Concert

The Gem City Jazz Band will present its annual spring concert on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. at St. John Parish Center, adjacent to St. John Lutheran Church, 2216 Peach St. The 21-member ensemble directed by Tim McKinney will perform "Scotch and Soda," "Killer Joe," "The Shadow of Your Smile" and other jazz selections. Vocalists Duane Kraus and Gary Flick will also be featured. The concert is free and open to public; donations accepted. For more information, call 825-9292.
