Book an Ensemble
The Gem City Bands are always looking for new venues for performing. The Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble are all available for outdoor concert series, retirement home performances, community celebrations and fund-raising events. Other small performance groups are also available upon request.
When Are the Bands Available to Perform?
Generally, the Concert Band or Jazz Ensemble is available to perform weekday evenings after 7:00 pm and any time during the weekends.
What are My Requirements as Host?
Every event and venue is different and each group's requirements are unique. However, access to a level grassy area, parking lot, activities room or stage large enough to accomodate the particular band of your choice is required. Access to electricity and lighting may also be required. If unavailable at the venue, the band can provide chairs. Stands, amps, power cords, and PA equipment can all be provided by Gem City. A contract can be drafted and mailed out by Gem City.
What is the Cost?
Although Gem City Band members are not paid individually, the band depends on various concert program activities to fund the purchase of new music and other costs necessary to keep the band operating. A tax-deductible donation is greatly appreciated for Gem City performances. A donation amount can be suggested upon request and 501(c)(3) tax-exempt paperwork can be provided for your convenience. The Gem City Bands Federal ID# is 20-2584174.
